Pacific Highway upgrade reaches major milestone

 

Part 3 Pacific Highway Milestone

 

• A major milestone was achieved during August on the $84 million Pacific Hwy and Wyong Rd upgrade at Tuggerah.
• Completion expected in 2019, weather permitting," Mr MacDonald said.

 

$300m Train maintenance facility to have over 200 employees

 

• Approximately 200 to 300 construction staff required on site during construction.
• Approximately 200 employees over a 24 hour period once operational, with potentially another 10 office staff.

 

Tender to be awarded “very soon'' for Tuggerah Regional Sport and Recreation Complex

• The Central Coast Council has confirmed it expects a tender to be awarded “very soon” for work on Stage 1 of the $34    million Regional Sport and Recreation Complex at the Pioneer Diary in Tuggerah.
• Wyong Council successfully attained a $10 million federal contribution.
• It is anticipated works on the complex will commence mid-year with an opening date for the initial stage of the project  in early 2018.
